MetaRadio Returns to NAB Show With V2.6

Media Realm has an update to its MetaRadio platform that introduces remote web access, image management, message scheduling enhancements and live data overrides.
The platform already integrates with HD Radio Artist Experience, allowing stations to send dynamic images to HD Radio receivers, including music cover art, program images and advertiser images. Custom images can be synced with audio from an automation system or scheduled dynamically via MetaRadio’s Message Scheduler.

MetaRadio was developed in 2016 by Australian broadcast technician Anthony Eden; he says interest has grown in other countries, including the U.S. He exhibited at the NAB Show last year and returns this year in the Broadcasters General Store booth.
Among recent clients is Cache Valley Media Group, which uses MetaRadio to provide a cohesive experience for listeners across FM, HD, mobile and desktop streaming. Another large group is using it to support its sale of visual ads for HD Radio Artist Experience.
Also, “While MetaRadio has always been available on Windows, some groups are now deploying it in a Linux Containerized deployment,” Media Realm said. Sandhill Media Group in Idaho has been an early adopter of this new deployment option.
MetaRadio is sold as a perpetual buy-out license, with optional subscriptions for ongoing maintenance, cloud add-ons and licensed add-ons such as the HD Radio Artist Experience. It is available in the United States from Broadcasters General Store.
